Getting Ready

I've got to tell you.... It's pretty crazy. I realize that I leave from the Continental United States in 7 days. I cannot believe it. I have never been off this Continent before. I am traveling to the other side of the world to land I've never seen to a completely different hemisphere. I am so pumped!

What I am most excited about is getting to be apart of spreading God's Kingdom to the people of South Africa. God is so great in providing for this trip. When I first signed up for this trip I was scared to death about raising the money. I had never had to ask for money for such a thing as this. I didn't know how to go about it. I realized that it takes some faith in order for trips like this to happen. God has provided in big ways. He has covered the plane ticket and has given me enough to live on while I am there. I am in awe of what he can do. Thank you Lord for this opportunity to be a part of spreading your Gospel to the people of South Africa. Give Dave, Kent and I boldness to proclaim the truth of your word. I will keep you all updated as much as I can once I get over there. I'm not sure how often we will have Internet access. I ask you to keep us in your prayers.
